Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels was among the many sports stars who descended to the Big Apple for the Fanatics Fest over the weekend.
Coming off a memorable rookie season in the NFL, Daniels is expected to be an even bigger star going forward in his pro career.
He showed the rest of the football world that the Commanders were right (and lucky) in picking him second overall in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft, as he earned a Pro Bowl nod right in his first season in the pros, while also being named the 2024 Associated Press Offensive Rookie of the Year.
It’s safe to say that the future is bright for the former Arizona State Sun Devils star, who also got plenty of attention at the said event in New York City, as a rare card donning his image was sold for a staggering price.

Washington Commanders QB’s card sold for $500,000

During the Trade Night at Fanatics Fest, Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin asked the crowd for the most expensive Jayden Daniels card, and one came up to show his 2024 Panini Prizm Black Finite rookie card that has a 9.5 grade.
The card’s owner said that it’s worth $2 million, but it was later bought by Washington managing partner Josh Harris for $500,000.
It’s a big step down from the initial $2 million price tag, but half a million dollars is still nothing to scoff at. Then again, Harris has a net worth of $11.9 billion, according to Bloomberg, so $500,000 surely doesn’t mean as much to him as it does to regular folks.
