It has been an extremely quiet offseason thus far for the Golden State Warriors as they have failed to make any additions to their roster outside of the 2025 draft.

Golden State was expected to be very active this summer to upgrade their roster around their star trio of Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green to chase a championship next season.

Instead, the Warriors have not made any additions to their roster outside of the draft and the main reason why is the ongoing saga between them and restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga as Golden State continues to await his decision on what is next for his career.

Because of this, the Warriors have missed out on a ton of free agent targets which is a massive blow to their title hopes next season.

Despite this, they are still expected to make moves this offseason and with Curry leading the way, they will likely be a contender once again next season.

Curry was in the news earlier this week as he was on a video posted by the Good Dude YouTube channel where he had high praise for Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant for one key reason.

“Ja Morant. I think, pound-for-pound, he is the most athletic dude in the league,” Curry said.

In the video, Curry also compared Morant’s athleticism to both Rusell Westbrook and John Wall’s in their prime but said Morant’s ability has more finesse.

This is high praise coming from Curry but it does make a ton of sense as Morant is one of the most athletic players the NBA has seen in quite some time.

From throwing down vicious dunks due to his extreme bounce to blocking shots on the other end, Morant is one of the most fun young players to watch in the NBA currently and there is no doubt that the Grizzlies star has earned praise from Curry due to his skills.
