Warriors’ Draymond Green Sends Message After Interesting Statement From Reporter

The Golden State Warriors were bounced from the NBA Playoffs in an unfortunate fashion, falling 4-1 to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round. They suffered tough luck when Stephen Curry left Game 1 of the series with a hamstring injury.Warriors’ Draymond Green Sends Message After Interesting Statement From Reporter

Some within the organization were optimistic, as Curry likely could've returned if the series had gone at least six games. Despite winning the first game of the series, the Warriors were unable to hold off the Timberwolves without their star shooter, and fans were left wondering what could've been.

Warriors' Draymond Green sends message after interesting statement from reporter

With the Golden State Warriors now out of the playoffs, Green has been focused on the NBA Finals featuring the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Indiana Pacers. The Thunder made quick work of the Timberwolves to get to the Finals, while the Pacers had a hard-fought series with the Knicks.

During the Pacers-Knicks series, many media members who were fans of the Knicks were compelled to speak about the team, despite their own biases. One person who spoke out was CBS Sports' Ashley Nicole Moss, who hasn't been thrilled with the criticism of being a Knicks fan in the media.

"I never wanna hear y'all cry about me being a media member and a Knicks fan again ... they keep panning to Reggie Miller in a Pacers jersey," she wrote on X.

Draymond Green responded to her take.

"It's something not right about this statement... I'm trying to figure it out," Green said.

While Miller is a member of the media, TNT doesn't cover the NBA Finals, so if ESPN is showing him courtside with a Pacers jersey on, the same team he played his entire career for, it shouldn't be that much of an issue.

However, it seems as if Moss, the host of "Triple Threat," hasn't been pleased. Green isn't shy about sharing his takes and this time comes from a familiar position. When Green retires, he'll still likely cheer on the team that drafted him 35th overall in the 2012 NBA Draft.
