Patrick Mahomes is widely considered to be the best player in the National Football League, and the Kansas City Chiefs will continue to be the team to beat until proven otherwise.
He might not be the most ripped athlete out there, but Mahomes is the craftiest passer we’ve seen in quite a while.
He showcased his skills again in a now-viral clip shared by the Chiefs on Twitter, showing off yet another one of his incredible trick passes.
The Chiefs will now strive to do something that hasn’t been done in the history of this league, which is winning three consecutive Super Bowls.
Some doubted they would be able to win again, as they were shorthanded on offense and were posting their worst offensive numbers of the Andy Reid era, yet they still managed to rally behind their defense to get the job done.
Now, the Chiefs have given Mahomes more weapons by adding WRs Xavier Worthy and Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, and while Rashee Rice’s future is still up in the air, their offense looks significantly better than it did last season.
Mahomes is a fierce competitor who feeds off the doubters, and he looks to be in game-shape now.
Of course, winning three in a row isn’t going to be easy, and everybody will be aiming for their crown and designing their teams solely to take them down.
But if anyone has proven that they can overcome all adversity, that’s Andy Reid and his future Hall of Famer quarterback.
