The Minnesota Vikings suffered their first loss of the season in a brutal divisional game against the Detroit Lions. Detroit went into US Bank Stadium and, after back and forth contest, kicked a game winning field goal with 15 seconds left to seal a 31-29 win.
Following the loss, Minnesota decided to part ways with one of their wide receivers.
Vikings Release 18-Game-Starter Following Brutal Loss To Lions (Breaking)
A pair of practice-squad signings, wide receiver Trishton Jackson and linebacker Calvin Munson, were made possible by the release of former first-round pick N’Keal Harry on Monday.
Harry was drafted by the New England Patriots in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He later signed with the Vikings on the practice squad and active roster in 2023. He converted from wide receiver to tight end in the offseason to try to find more job security. As a Viking, he played in nine games but didn’t see a target.
