Last season, there was a dark cloud hanging over the Minnesota Vikings. Wide receiver Jordan Addison had been arrested on suspicion of DUI in Los Angeles on July 12 and has not been reprimanded by the team or the league yet.
The Vikings have already stated that they are waiting to see what the league decides. In the meantime, Addison has been able to play in each game since the incident, since there was no suspension handed down.
Eventually, there will be some kind of decision made about what to do about Addison's arrest. In the meantime, fans in Minnesota will have to continue to wonder what type of action the league will take and how it will impact the team.
The good news is that Minnesota Vikings fans should know something about Jordan Addison's situation. VikingzFanPage on X shared that Ben Goessling mentioned via Access Vikings that a resolution should come soon.

Goessling said he expects Addison to be suspended for the first 3 games, based on the standard policy.

If Jordan Addison is suspended for the first three games of the 2025 NFL season, he will miss games against the Bears in Chicago in Week 1, at home against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2, and at home vs. the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 3.
A suspension for those games would put the Vikings in a tough spot, but at least the situation will be handled, and Minnesota won't have to worry about when or if something is going to be handed down by the NFL.
The Minnesota Vikings will need to lean on Justin Jefferson, T.J. Hockenson, Rondale Moore, and rookie Tai Felton, among others, in his absence to help keep the offense flowing with new starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy.
Addison might not be a superstar on the level of Justin Jefferson, but he is a productive pass catcher who has stepped up at some of the most challenging times for the team and made big plays to pick up first downs or get in the end zone when things were looking grim for the purple and gold the last few seasons.
Considering a three-game suspension is pretty standard for the NFL, it would be surprising to see anything more of a punishment be handed down. Hopefully, Jordan Addison has learned his lesson and will no longer put himself and the team in these kinds of situations.
