Vikings Announce Signing Of Veteran WR

The 2024 NFL season went a lot better for the Minnesota Vikings than anyone expected.

Vikings Announce Signing Of Veteran WR

With a projected win total of 7.5 according to most sportsbooks, the Vikings seemingly didn’t have a prayer to make the playoffs, much less have a record over .500.

They proved their doubters wrong, with much thanks to Sam Darnold’s brilliance under center.

Darnold might have moved on to the Seattle Seahawks after signing a three-year deal, but the Vikings still have plenty of optimism heading into the 2025 season.

They’ve added several players during free agency to help grow their roster, which includes their most recent addition, Rondale Moore, according to the team’s official X page.

Moore was a second-round pick by the Arizona Cardinals in 2021, having some flashes of greatness with Kyler Murray, but never materializing into a WR1.

He missed the entire 2024 season due to an injury, which might be a cause for concern, but if he is healthy, he could be another weapon for J.J. McCarthy to throw to, making his first season under center that much easier.

Moore joins a wide receiver room led by Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, two players who have had great success in the league and on this team.

With any luck, Moore can learn from both of them, not only turning his career around with a new opportunity but helping the Vikings keep the momentum going and increase their chances of making a deep playoff run.

This was a low-risk move for the Vikings that could be mutually beneficial to the team and to Moore if it all works out.
