In the wake of the Davante Adams trade, questions have understandably been raised about the future of Maxx Crosby.

Based on his latest comments, it appears he is done with the Las Vegas Raiders.

His recent comments about the Raiders potentially entering a rebuild has led to rampant speculation he would be open to being traded elsewhere.

Crosby has repeatedly stated his desire to remain with the Raiders for the foreseeable future, but nobody wants to be part of a rebuild after being in the league for some time.

On Thursday, Maxx Crosby indicated he would not be fond of Las Vegas being in rebuild mode, as his goal is to win football games.

“I’m not here to rebuild, I’m here to win. So I don’t know, whatever that means,” Crosby said via Crunch Time Sports on Thursday. “But, I’m here to win now. Wherever I’m gonna be, I’m gonna be here to win, so that’s all that matters to me.”

Crosby also expressed, “Wherever I’m gonna be, I’m gonna be here to win,” causing many to read into what his non-verbal communication actually meant.

Maxx Crosby’s comments come days after three-time All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams was traded to the New York Jets.

Crosby has been doing his part on the team that is just 2-4. He co-leads the NFL in tackles for loss (nine) this season along with Texans edge rusher Will Anderson Jr. and Broncos edge rusher Zach Allen.

Crosby’s 97 career tackles for loss lead the NFL since entering the league in 2019.

Maxx Crosby Deserves To Be On A Better Franchise

The decision to move on from Davante Adams clearly indicates Vegas’ intent regarding a run to the playoffs or beyond in 2024.

Maxx Crosby and the Raiders agreed to a restructure this offseason which upped his earnings for this season and next.

However, based on his latest comments, it seems he is ready to go.

Crosby has been in the league since 2019, but the team has only qualified for the playoffs once in that time frame.

It’s time to send him somewhere that has a winning culture.
