“Vanderpump Rules” alum Peter Madrigal is open to filming a spinoff with some of his former co-stars.
Days after Bravo announced a complete reboot of the Emmy-nominated reality show, Madrigal shared that he is already in talks with some former SURvers for possible projects on his Reality Network, an independent TV network that streams reality shows via Roku.
“I’m not gonna give anything away, but yes, I would [be interested in doing a spinoff with them],” Madrigal said of the former ”Vanderpump Rules” cast.
When asked if he’d consider doing a show with Tom Sandoval following his headline-making cheating scandal, Madrigal shut the idea down. “I don’t know about [Sandoval], but anybody else,” he said. “There’s a certain group of people that I’ve talked to about it already,” he added. “I’ve already had discussions about doing some stuff with some of my old castmates.”
Elsewhere on the podcast, Madrigal noted that he is still friends with Scheana Shay, Ariana Madix, and Katie Maloney.
Peter Madrigal Expects to Appear on the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Reboot
Madrigal is still the general manager at SUR, Lisa Vanderpump’s West Hollywood restaurant that serves as the backdrop of “Vanderpump Rules.” Bravo announced that the reboot will feature a group of “close-knit SURvers” employed at the restaurant like the OGs used to be.
Madrigal told Nati that out of all of the original cast, “The one that’s still there is yours truly,”
In November, Madrigal told Us Weekly he should be on the new show. “I’m still at SUR, so, logically, [I should be on],” he told the outlet. “We’ll see what happens. We’ll see what they wanna do. I don’t know. I have no idea.”
He also teased on the “Vanderpump Robs” podcast that he may have filmed “a couple of little clips” with the new cast. He joked that viewers “better” see him on the show when it returns for season 12.
Some of the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Cast Members Have Already Filmed for ‘The Valley’
While some of the former “Vanderpump Rules” stars could eventually end up on Reality Network, at least three cast members will pop up on Bravo in 2025.
According to Deadline, “Vanderpump Rules” veterans Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, Lala Kent, and Tom Schwartz all filmed scenes for the upcoming second season of “The Valley.” Kent and Shay made brief appearances on the show during season 1.
Schwartz confirmed to Us Weekly that he will also “pop in” during season 2. “You’ll probably see some cameos. I hang out with all those people,” he said of “The Valley” cast, which includes former “Vanderpump Rules” star Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, and Kristen Doute.
