The Baltimore Ravens’ wide receiver room looks a lot different than it did a few weeks ago. They re-signed Tylan Wallace and made their biggest move yet, signing 12-year veteran DeAndre Hopkins. Not so surprisingly, the team didn't lose any of their other receivers, but the room will look quite different from last year for one big reason: Hopkins.
Lamar Jackson's top-two receivers from last year headline a group that's looking to prove itself as one of the best. Flowers earned his first Pro Bowl nod last year, and Bateman finally had the breakout season fans have been hoping for and predicting for years.
The offseason has only just begun, so expect things to be fluid and change over the course of the next few months. Here is the Ravens' updated WR depth chart after the major Hopkins signing:
Ravens updated WR depth chart
- WR (left) - DeAndre Hopkins | Devontez Walker | Malik Cunningham*
- WR (right) - Rashod Bateman | Tylan Wallace | Keith Kirkwood*
- WR (slot) - Zay Flowers | Anthony Miller* | Dayton Wade*
Malik Cunningham: Cunningham is a former quarterback-turned-receiver from Louisville, entering his third season. He spent last year on the Ravens' practice squad and figures to remain there in 2025.
Keith Kirkwood: Kirkwood is about to enter his sixth season in the league. He has 24 receptions for 294 yards and three touchdowns. He was signed to the Ravens' practice squad last year, and they re-signed him again this offseason. We'll see if he can crack the 53-man roster this year.
Anthony Miller: Aside from the career stats, Miller's situation is just about on par with Kirkwood's. He was re-signed this offseason after spending all of last year on the practice squad.
Dayton Wade: Wade spent his entire rookie season on the practice squad last year.
One thing to note: now with Hopkins, the Ravens' top-five receivers can pretty much stack up against any top-five from any team. There is legitimate depth there. Hopkins will be integral in further unlocking Flowers and Bateman, but Walker and Wallace both showed their big-play ability last year, setting Lamar Jackson up nicely.
Cunningham, Kirkwood, Miller, and Wade all figure to fight for a bottom-tier receiver spot or a practice squad invite. It would be genuinely shocking to see one of those four crack the rotational or compete for one of the competitive top-five slots.
Even with the receiver room looking strong, expect the Ravens to select one in the 2025 NFL Draft. They have 11 picks, and there are some interesting Day 2 and Day 3 picks, such as Jack Bech (TCU), Isaiah Bond (Texas), Jayden Higgins (Iowa State), Nick Nash (SJSU), and Pat Bryant (Illinois). Don't expect them to target another in free agency. They're likely done there.
However, good luck cracking into this rotation as a rookie.
