Tyreek Hill Makes Significant Change At Dolphins Camp

The Miami Dolphins have undergone significant changes to their offensive staff this offseason.

For star wide receiver Tyreek Hill, these adjustments represent more than just personnel moves.

Bobby Slowik, the new senior pass game coordinator, recently earned praise from Hill for breaking down concepts in ways that make sense to the receivers.

The approach has Hill taking notes during meetings for the first time.

“I’ll gonna be completely honest, I didn’t understand the offense for the first three years of me being here. But this year, I feel like ‘Coach Slo’ has explained it a lot. We’re taking notes in the meeting rooms, which is great, something I have never done in my career,” Hill said, via FinsXtra.

The revelation that Hill struggled to understand Miami’s offense for three seasons adds context to his request for a trade at the end of last season.

Hill has since apologized for those comments and recommitted to the franchise.

Hill enters his fourth season in Miami after posting more than 1,700 receiving yards in each of his first two campaigns with the team before falling off to 959 yards last season.

First-year receivers coach Robert Prince has been hands-on, challenging both Hill and Jaylen Waddle with a demanding approach that requires their complete focus.

Hill views Prince’s accountability as essential rather than excessive.

The constant push to raise standards daily resonates with a player looking to rebuild relationships with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and his teammates after a tumultuous offseason.
