Two Surprise Engagements on B&B, Who Will Make it Down the Aisle First?

Big engagement news on The Bold and the Beautiful. Two couples have made it official. Carter was the first to pop the question to Hope. Meanwhile, Taylor went against tradition by asking Ridge for his hand in marriage.

From Barely Coping to Marital Bliss

Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Hope (Annika Noelle) had a rocky footing. They initially had a physical attraction but got together out of pure spite and pettiness. They used their new relationship to acquire Forrester Creations. Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) shook up their worlds, and they almost didn’t make it.

Carter and Hope finally found common ground in their relationship. They didn’t let Daphne meddle. She headed back to Paris. (But will she be back with a baby in tow?) Meanwhile, Carter realized that Hope was the woman he had been wanting all this time. She was right there in front of her. So, why sabotage this relationship? He popped the question, and to our surprise, Hope accepted.

Will they still make it down the aisle? They haven’t started wedding planning as of yet. That could be on hold if Daphne does come back to Forrester Creations. And we wouldn’t be surprised if she showed up to their wedding to break it off. It’s possible that the two had a passionate night together when Carter assumed his relationship with Hope was done. That would explain why Daphne has such strong feelings for him.

Will Tridge Beat Bridge?

Speaking of love triangles, we can’t forget Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor (Rebecca Budig). She wanted to feel secure in their relationship, especially since he’s had Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) on his mind. So, she wanted him to put a ring on it. Taylor asked him to marry her. After beating around the bush, Ridge finally said yes, and now they’re headed for engagement bliss as well.

But will Ridge get cold feet? He could regret locking down Taylor, especially after he sees Brooke and Nick (Jack Wagner) back together. We have a feeling that his head will explode. Ridge is already upset that his half-brother is back in town. He has a bad feeling about this. Ridge even forbade Brooke from seeing Nick.

But he can’t dictate his ex’s life. This might complicate matters in his relationship with Taylor. Unfortunately, these two might end up calling it quits yet again.
