Turf Show Ramily: Which team deserves a Super Bowl win the most?

Through the 59 years of the Super Bowl era, 12 teams have never hoisted the Lombardi Trophy. Four teams—Lions, Jaguars, Texans, Browns—have never appeared in the big game. The Bills can exorcise their demons on the sport’s biggest stage if they get past the Chiefs in Sunday’s AFC Championship.

Super Bowl 2024 highlights: Chiefs top 49ers in OT, repeat as champs

Buffalo is one team that deserves a Super Bowl win the most. Bills Mafia is one of the best fanbases in the NFL and has been through hell and back...putting it EXTREMELY mildly. From losing four Super Bowls in a row to “13 Seconds,” that is enough misery for several lifetimes.

Unless something happens to the Cigarette Smoking Man, the Bills might not win for a while, forget that he just lifted the “curse” ahead of their matchup against KC.

Jokes aside, Bills Mafia is freaking awesome. Fans raised over $100,000 for diabetes research to support Mark Andrews, who dropped the tying two-point conversion which sent Buffalo to the AFC title game. Instead of pouring salt in the wound, Bills fans took the classy route. That has to get them out of football purgatory at last, right?

Like most of the country this weekend, I’ll be rooting for Buffalo. The Bills will probably blow it like they usually do, but something about this team feels different. That much was certain after Josh Allen almost single-handedly led his team to a win over the L.A. Rams earlier this season.

Another team I’d like to see win a championship is Cincinnati. If the Bengals didn’t play the Rams in the 2022 Super Bowl, it would have been nice to see Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase hoist the Lombardi Trophy. The Lions would also deserve a ring if they weren’t a bunch of dirty rotten tools.

Turf Show Ramily, which team do you believe deserves a Super Bowl win that hasn’t won it yet, and why? Or, what about a team that hasn’t won it in forever like the dreadful J-E-T-S? Go ahead and drop your choices in the comments!
