Troubled Cowboys Ex Issues Stunning Statement About Antonio Brown Arrest

A pair of former NFL stars, Pacman Jones and Antonio Brown, are facing legal trouble and one of the competitors is speaking out about the other.

Adam "Pacman" Jones, who played one season with the Dallas Cowboys in 2008, pleaded not guilty this week to multiple charges following his arrest last weekend in the Cincinnati/Kentucky area. The 41-year-old was arrested by Covington Police and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place, disorderly conduct and assault of a police officer or a probation officer.

Former Pittsburgh Steelers great and fellow controversial figure Antonio Brown is currently wanted in Miami-Dade County on an "attempted murder with a firearm" charge after a shooting that Brown was allegedly involved in during a celebrity boxing event in last month.

Jones, a defensive back, and Brown, a wide receiver, squared off against each other on the field.

Now they're each facing their own troubles with the law.

Pacman posted a $10,000 bond and was released from police custody.

Brown is, according to his warrant, instructed to post a $10,000 bond and remain at his house until trial.

We've heard from Brown, who says “What doesn’t kill me makes me stronger,'' and "Wanna play? Then play hard.”

Brown also responded with a series of posts on X, including a video of him in boxing gloves, riding a bike, and another picture accusing somebody else who "did it".

Jones now has something to say about Brown's situation.

“How long you think AB gonna be on the run?," Pacman said in a video posted to social media. “I bet you it gonna be longer than [72 hours]. I ain’t no lawyer here so he ain’t lawyered up, which is a dumb thing.”

Brown was detained by police after gunshots were supposedly fired at the boxing event. But now, according to the warrant, witnesses have told police officers that Brown was the shooter, and that two shell casings were found at the scene. One man involved in the conflict alleged that Brown "began to run toward him with a firearm" and shot at him twice.

For Brown, 36, this is the latest in a disturbing string of incidents tying to legal and behavioral issues since the controversial end to his NFL career where he marched off the field and was released.

Jones' arrest is his fourth since 2021, and he has been booked for a public intoxication charge three consecutive years. Last year he was arrested by Arlington police for assaulting an officer after the Jake Paul-Mike Tyson fight at AT&T Stadium.

Now both in disputes with the law, it appears Jones and Brown are competitors once again. ...
