Travis Kelce proves to be his own harshest critic when reacting to Chiefs making playoffs

Simply based off of statistics, this has been a slower season for Travis Kelce.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end had only found his way into the end zone twice this year, and he has a total of 637 receiving yards through 12 games.

Many have commented on his performance this season, but he proved that he truly is his harshest critic.

Travis Kelce proves to be his own harshest critic when reacting to Chiefs making playoffs

"Right now, for whatever reason this year, I just can't find my way into the end zone. I'm just not on the same page as Pat (Mahomes)," Kelce bluntly said on the latest episode of the New Heights podcast. "And it can get frustrating. It can get f***ing frustrating, that's for damn sure."

For such a competitive and talented player, it's no surprise that he wants to find his way into the end zone more than he already has.

But despite his lack of production (statistically), the Kansas City Chiefs have still gone out an won almost every single game this season.

And with their most recent victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, they clinched a spot in the playoffs.

However, Kelce's reaction to that wasn't as joyful as you might think.

"And as sh**y as I've played, it does feel good to be in my tenth year in a row making the playoffs," he simply said.

Jason responded with what we are all thinking: he's being too hard on himself.

That being said, a determined Travis heading into the playoffs is a recipe for success. Get ready for that three-peat.
