This series will look at the positions the Cleveland Browns are most likely to pick during the NFL Draft and then whittle the list down to the top targets.
Here is a look at the series so far:
Running Backs
Wide Receivers
Tight Ends
Below is the current Cleveland Browns roster, their contract status and how likely I see them as making the 2025 roster:
Locks - These players have a 99% or higher chance of being on the 53 man roster come week one unless they are traded or retire. Unless you are willing to bet $99 with the return of $100 then you don't believe in someone strong enough for them to be a lock in this chart.
Bubble - These players are battling for a place on the 53 man roster, if they don't make the team there is a chance they are claimed on waivers.
Practice Squad - These players are unlikely to make the 53 man roster and instead trying to make the practice squad.

Here is my best guess at the 53 man roster if it was to be decided today with no other additions:
QB - Flacco, Pickett (Watson PUP)
RB - Ford, Strong, Hairston
WR - Jeudy, Tillman, Bell, Thrash, Carter, Woods
TE - Njoku, Whiteheart, Bates
T - Jones, Conklin, Lucas, Thompson
G/C - Bitonio, Pocic, Teller, Zinter, Jenkins
ED - Garrett, Okoronkwo, Wright, McGuire, Tryon-Shoyinka
DT - Collins, Harris, Hall, Briggs, Kamara
LB - Hicks, Bush, Baker, Diabate, Reid, Watson (JOK PUP)
CB - Ward, Newsome, Emerson, Mitchell, Harden, Brown
S - Delpit, Hickman, Dean, Edmonds, ?
ST - Hopkins, Bojoquez, Sunahara
As you can tell there is still plenty of work for them to do, I would expect them to add a veteran in free agency or the trade market at quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight end, edge defender and free safety. If they are planning to select either Travis Hunter and Abdul Carter at two then they might pass on these two positions instead.
