The Kansas City Chiefs saw their bid for the first ever three-peat in the Super Bowl era fall one game short. From the jump, the Philadelphia Eagles had their number in Super Bowl 59, leading to a 40-22 defeat in the country’s biggest event of the year.
However, Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes are determined to get back to the big game and prove that they’re still the best of the best. One massive trade could make that even more realistic.
“This Would Change Everything” Chiefs Pegged To Pull Off Massive Trade Before 2025 Season (Report)

In Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs have one of the best tight ends of all time, but this may be his last season in the NFL:
So now is as good of a time as ever to start looking for his successor.
In a recent video posted by Bleacher Report, Mitch Milani puts together 10 blockbuster trades for the Chiefs to make that would help get Patrick Mahouts his fourth ring. One of the deals he proposes would have the Chiefs sending a few late-round picks in 2026 to the Atlanta Falcons in exchange for young tight end Kyle Pitts.
The Falcons selected Pitts out of Florida with the fourth overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, which made him the highest-drafted tight end in history. But his career so far has not been exactly what Atlanta thought it would be.

In 2024, Pitts finished with a fairly disappointing 602 receiving yards and four touchdowns, which on the bright side, is the most he has been to the end zone in a season so far. But many think this is not Pitts’ fault, as the Falcons have not utilized his skills at the tight end position very well.
If there is someone that knows how to incorporate a star tight end into an offense, it is Andy Reid. As a result, the reigning AFC champions could consider looking into a trade for Pitts going into the 2025 season.

Here is a look at Pitts’ career stats so far:
