The Houston Texans went into AT&T Stadium on Monday Night and dominated the Dallas Cowboys. In front of their home crowd, Dallas fell 34-10 to their in-state rivals. While this matchup was highly anticipated prior the the season, injuries forced this game to feature numerous backups.
Regardless, Houston felt like leaving Dallas a little parting message after their big win.
Cowboys have struggled at home this season, failing to win a game on their own ground. In light of Monday’s incident, it appears their stadium is also struggling.
The stadium’s retractable roof had been attempted to open for the first time in two years, but staff ultimately decided to leave it closed after a large metal sheet fell, nearly causing serious injuries:
The game went on as planned and on schedule, but this could have easily turned ugly, given how close the sheet landed to the production staff going about their jobs below.
Houston apparently had no qualms joking about the strange occurrence, taking to social media to post falling metal in the shape of an “L” after the game.
