The Kansas City Chiefs have been one of the best team in the NFL for  the better part of the last decade.  Since Patrick Mahomes has taken over as the starting quarterback, Kansas City has seen unparalleled success.

However, recent events have forced fans to rethink their allegiance.

In case you didn’t know, Butker has become one of the more controversial figures in the NFL.  As a keynote speaker at the Catholic liberal arts college’s graduation ceremony in May 2024, Butker made headlines. The speech criticized Pride Month, IVF, and the “most diabolical lies” told to women graduates:

He would add that he guessed a majority of the female students were “most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world.”

Earlier this year, Butker did not back down from his words.

“It was a surprise because I’d been saying similar things to that for many years now and it’s funny what stuff gets picked up,” Butker said, according to the Associated Press.
