This Chicago Bears' wide receiver may be in line for another career milestone

The Chicago Bears have to feel good about their trade for D.J. Moore. Moore had a career year during his first season with the team and went from a solid receiver who many fans knew into one of the more highly regarded receivers in the NFL. However, the next step for Moore to take is to earn an AP All-Pro nomination, showing that he is among the elite.

There is an argument to be made that this is a great chance for him to make it. Moore had his best season and should get a quarterback upgrade. At the very least, the Bears will be throwing the ball more than a season prior. While Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze will take some targets, they will also take some coverage, and life will be easier for Moore than ever before.

Moore shining and being the top receiver on the Bears despite Allen and Odunze being on the roster could be what actually gives him more recognition. Right now there are debates about who the top receiver on the roster is, but internally most know that Moore is the answer. If Moore can answer that with ease he will get a lot of praise from the national media.

He will also get a lot of credit if Caleb Williams has a great season. On the flip side, making All-Pro at wide receiver is arguably tougher than ever. Last year the names were Tyreek Hill, CeeDee Lamb, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Brandon Aiyuk, AJ Brown, Puka Nacua, and Mike Evans. That does not include names such as Justin Jefferson and Davante Adams who made it last year.

Overall, momentum is building towards Moore making his first All-Pro. This should be the next goal that Moore should check on his ascension to being one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.
