‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, July 8: Mariah Remembers Smothering the Older Man; Victoria and Claire Deal with their Grief

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.

The episode for Tuesday, July 8 is going to give up an answer we suspected and a good mother-daughter moment while grieving.

Watching Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) working with Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) on the guitar will get Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) thinking.

She’ll flash back to when she smothered the older man with a pillow. When she and Tessa talk, Tessa will wait for her to open up, but that means to shut herself off from Mariah.

In the tact house, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will share some memories of Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck).

Claire will be sorry she left during Cole’s final moments and how she wishes he never took that trip.

It’ll be a good moment for the two of them as they’ll lean on each other to work through their grief.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers had a feeling Mariah did something more than just commit adultery and now we’ll know.

It’s only a brief moment she’ll flash back to, but it’s a powerful one. She regrets doing it, but also regrets what it led her to currently.

While she obviously had an emotional break, it looks like she was cognizant enough to act normal and get away with it.

That’s not helping her mood, and seeing how it’s destroying the life she’s built with Tessa isn’t helping.

For her part, Tessa still has no clue, but she’ll tell Mariah she has to cut herself off. But she’ll be there when Mariah opens up.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Tuesday, July 8: Claire learns how to grieve

Since she returned to Genoa City and her family, Claire has learned a few things. Like what family is like but most importantly unconditional love.

In this case, it’s about her learning how unfair life can be. She just got her parents in her life and planned to experience so much with them, but now Cole’s death changed that.

Her and Victoria will talk about how Cole didn’t know the words to lullabies so he’d hum to Claire.

Victoria will share that he read a poem at Claire’s funeral and Claire will want to read the same poem at his.

She’s intent on showing him how much he means to her as she tries to move forward.
