‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers disclose that a picture was leaked from the set of Y&R, showing daytime favorite Billy Flynn, who is still seen through 2026 as Chad DiMera on the Peacock soap Days of Our Lives, being confronted by Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).

In the pic, Cane Ashby (last played by Daniel Goddard) is arguing with his ex-wife as Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) tries to do damage control.
In the photo, Amanda has her arm out while she is standing next to Cane. Lily is irate with Cane due to his playing games and pretending to be Aristotle Dumas.
We have lost count of how many times Y&R characters have uttered the name Aristotle Dumas in the past few months.
This is the most extensive introduction of a character in soap history. We want the big reveal already! We are 99.9 percent certain that Billy Flynn is coming to Y&R to play Cane Ashby, as several sources have all but confirmed it. At this point, we’d even bet money on it.
While Flynn is significantly younger than Goddard and doesn’t have an Australian accent, it will be quite an adjustment for fans when he steps into the role.
However, speaking as an avid Days and Billy Flynn fan, his talent is undeniable, as his appeal is magnetic. He’ll make the role his own and add some much-needed excitement to Y&R, which has been somewhat redundant and mundane for some time.
Cane and Lily were a popular couple on the show, and they had a devoted fan base. Y&R may decide to pair them again, which would please their fans.
Cane left Genoa City in 2019 and apparently became a successful businessman and a billionaire to boot. He’s invited several rich and powerful families from Genoa City to his summer chateau on the French Riviera for a lavish private party on Friday the 13th.

Two core families who have received an invitation are, of course, the Newmans and the Abbotts. Y&R also has some new sets they plan to debut as part of the Aristotle Dumas storyline. One of which will be featured on the soap for this upcoming party.
The bombshell that Cane is Dumas is sure to wake up the sleepy Wisconsin town that has become Genoa City and shake up his rival companies.
It will be interesting to find out Dumas’s motives. Such as why he would want to help Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) reclaim Chancellor.
Not to mention, it will give Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) a run for his money where his quest to court Lily is concerned.
Victor Newman (Eric Braden) will be stunned that Cane managed to succeed in business in ways the Mustache has failed.
It would be fun to finally witness the Great Victor Newman fall flat on his face. We can hardly wait until Cane reveals himself as Dumas and Flynn comes onto the show. It promises to be an occasion that Genoa City’s finest won’t soon forget.
