Friday, May 2 looks like it’s going to be an fun character building episode as we’re going to get a betrayal mixed in with everything.
There’s a Europe swap going on, and with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) back, so secrets are coming out.
It looks like Mariah has some trouble coping and got drunk on the mini bar. As to what she did, we have a feeling she had an affair.
With whom is the question, but we expect them to show up in a couple of weeks or months.
As for the other half of the European swap, Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) will head over to find replacements.
She’s going to give Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) her blessing.
We’re thinking when she comes back a new actress will be in the role. Assuming she comes back and isn’t a mainstay in Europe of dies off screen.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers aren’t surprised something happened in Europe.
We’re even less surprised some drama happened off camera, cause why would we want to see it on a dramatic show?
It looks like Mariah had a moment of weakness following everything she’s dealt with and got drunk on her room’s minibar.
Sharon will try to comfort her and tell her Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will understand because everyone makes mistakes.
Mariah will say this is huge, and we’re thinking she cheated on Tessa.
So in a few weeks when this person arrives, it’ll trigger their breakup and Tessa and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will become a couple.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Friday, May 2: Summer’s leaving
There have been reports that Alison Lanier is done playing Summer and this could be the last time we see her.
It’d be a perfect time as she’s going to Europe to find replacements for Sally and Chelsea. Summer will give them her blessing to follow their paths.
For their part, Sally and Chelsea will make sure she knows they don’t want to leave anyone hanging. But they will happily report to their significant others they accept their job offers.
It seems fitting for Summer to go out this way given how chaotic things have been for her lately.
Though we do have a feeling the writers may kill her off.
