‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to keep things rolling with some fun spoielry goodies to share.
The episode for Thursday, May 29 looks like it’s going to be a character building one. We’re going to get some tough but good scenes.
Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will return and give Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) some grief before admitting she loves what Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) did.
She’ll also admit that she’s worried about her recovery because it was under Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins) that oversaw it.
She feels he hurt her more than she knows and tucked her away to go after Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland). So to make sure she’s okay, she wants to take a leave to see a therapist.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will try to convince Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) about their business opportunity.
He’ll be skeptical, and eventually tell her he needs to figure things out for himself.
It’s pretty much what Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) told her, but it looks like she’ll listen this time.
Or will she?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Thursday, May 29: Needs a break
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers aren’t surprised there’s more fallout from Martin’s actions.
After Ashley grudgingly gives Diane kudos for her remodeling, she’ll talk to Jack alone.
She’ll explain that watching Traci trying to heal has shown her that she is more damaged than she thought.
The main reason is Martin oversaw her recovery after he further destroyed her. She hasn’t had any slips, but she’s worried it could happen.
She feels he sent her away so he could target Traci, and Ashley will want to take a leave to see a therapist. Jack will fully support her and condemn Martin further.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Thursday, May 29: Daniel stands on his own
Well, it looks like Phyllis will finally admit she was wrong about Daniel.
She’ll tell him about her scamming a meeting with Dumas and how Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) is onboard with her idea.
But when she mentions his position he’ll say no. He’s still trying to find himself and doesn’t want a high pressure job at the moment.
It’ll take some effort, but it looks like Phyllis will finally listen to someone. Her thing is Daniel will always be her son and she’ll worry.
We think it was her way of supporting and helping herself by focusing on him, but maybe we’re wrong?
Is Phyllis going to even out or will she continue to spiral? Let us know in the comments below.
