During the episode, Doute reflected on the “terrifying” pregnancy loss, but said she was still feeling positive about the future.

"The only silver lining, the fact that we've now been digesting this for the last four or five days, is that I know once Luke and I are past this, we can try again," she said. "And we were very lucky and very fortunate that we got pregnant so quickly. We were so so lucky because it could have gone a different way for me at my age."

"I haven't gone through IVF, I haven't frozen my eggs. I haven't done anything. I just think there's something in God's plan,” she continued, adding that the couple are “very hopeful to have a very healthy pregnancy the next time around.”

In a May 2024 interview, Doute also told PEOPLE that she and Broderick are still very "hopeful" that a baby is on the cards for them and that they were ready to start trying for a baby again.

"I mean, that does give us hope," the reality TV star told PEOPLE. "I think it's not a false sense of hope. We, at that point, had only been trying for a couple of months and we were fortunate enough."

"So we're just back on the train trying and fingers crossed. We're doing right every month exactly how we should be doing it. So yeah, we're just hopeful,” she added.
