The Houston Texans are coming off a tough loss to the Green Bay Packers, but they have shown themselves to be one of the top teams in the NFL this season.
However, it's always a good time to check out how mock drafts are shaping out this time of year. A to Z Sports' latest mock draft is out, myself and five other NFL Draft analysts took turns making selections for all 32 teams.
And it had the Texans adding a dynamic offensive weapon.
Texans land Penn State TE Tyler Warren
"One of the big risers in the class, Warren is a tremendous athlete at the tight end position. He presents an immediate upgrade to Dalton Schultz, who has been trending downward. This gives quarterback CJ Stroud a perfect middle-of-the-field target to work with on every snap."
- Ryan Roberts selects Tyler Warren for the Texans
If you are a college football fan, you probably already know all about Penn State tight end Tyler Warren's incredible game against the USC Trojans in Week 7. He ended the day with 17 receptions, 224 yards and a touchdown. He played a major role in helping Penn State squeak out a narrow victory by a score of 33 to 30. That type of playmaker could be what the Texans offense is missing, with them getting great production from their wide receivers and new running back Joe Mixon this season.
