The Golden Bachelorette's Joan Vassos Loses Her Confidence After Mark Anderson Faces Backlash Over His Red Flags

Now that there are only four men left on The Golden Bachelorette, Joan Vassos is feeling anxious with less than a month to go until she chooses the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with. After leaving The Golden Bachelor season 1 for personal reasons, Joan received a second chance to find love on TV via The Golden Bachelorette season 1. The Bachelor winner Kelsey Anderson's dad Mark Anderson became a frontrunner right away, but after Joan sent him packing, red flags popped up amid rumors he could be chosen as the next Golden Bachelor.

The Golden Bachelorette's Joan Vassos Shockingly Plays Matchmaker With Eliminated Men & Golden Bachelor Women (Did She Set Up A Date For Mark Anderson?)

While speaking with Jesse Palmer, The Golden Bachelorette 's Joan Vassos admits she's not confident anymore following Mark Anderson's elimination.

EW shared a preview of the next Golden Bachelorette episode, which will feature the hometown dates with Joan's four remaining men. After rejecting Mark in the previous episode, it appears Joan isn't sure what to do anymore. In the preview clip, Joan reflects on the hometown dates with Jesse Palmer, who tries to figure out her mindset going into the next rose ceremony. Joan admits, "I thought all the hometowns went really, really well, but the conversations were not what I expected. I thought I'd be more confident in these relationships by now."

What Joan Vassos’ Lack Of Confidence Means For The Golden Bachelorette

Joan Doesn't Want To Let Anyone Down

Joan's group of men vying for her heart started out with a whopping 24 contenders. After only five episodes, she had whittled that list down to just four. Since she's just a couple of rose ceremonies away from choosing one man, her confidence seems shattered. She might be questioning whether she made the right decisions in sending home certain men like Mark and Charles Ling, who became Bachelor Nation fan-favorites.

Joan's admission came after the hometown dates, meaning she started questioning herself after meeting Chock Chapple, Guy Gansert, Jordan Heller and Pascal Ibgui's families. Aside from the theory that she's wondering if she should have made different decisions at the previous rose ceremonies, another possibility is that she loved spending time with the final four's families and seeing the men in their natural environments that she doesn't want to let any of them down now, including the families.

It's not surprising Joan is feeling very nervous and anxious right now. The Golden Bachelorette may be a TV show, but for her, this is real life because she has to make giant decisions that will affect the rest of her and her family's lives. She might get married to one of these four men, so she wants to make sure she gets it right. She also doesn't want to disappoint anyone. Unfortunately, three of them will leave brokenhearted. Once Joan makes her final decision, hopefully, her confidence comes back and she's ready to move forward happy and with conviction.
