The Golden Bachelorette winner Chock Chapple revealed who he thinks should be the next Golden Bachelor lead, after frontrunners Mark Anderson and runner-up Guy Gansert exhibited red flags that might take them out of the running. Chock got engaged to lead Joan Vassos at the end of The Golden Bachelorette season 1, after she said goodbye to 23 other men, including Mark and Guy. Joan felt that Mark wasn't truly ready to date after losing his wife, while Guy's ex-wife had filed a restraining order against him, although the incident wasn't addressed on the show.
Chock shared which of his former Golden Bachelorette co-stars he believes should be the next Golden Bachelor, including Charles Ling, Jordan Heller, Keith Gordon, and Gary Levingston.
In an interview with E! News after Chock and Joan's engagement party, which included many of their Golden Bachelorette friends, Chock shared which of his former Golden Bachelorette co-stars he believes should be the next Golden Bachelor star, including Charles Ling, Jordan Heller, Keith Gordon, and Gary Levingston. He said, "We start with Charles Ling—what a great personality, and I think America would love it. You’ve got Jordan with an incredible wit and personality. You’ve got all these gentlemen that bring something."
Chock continued on to talk about other Golden Bachelorette stars as possible Golden Bachelor leads, including Keith and Gary. He added, "Keith [Gordon], the girl dad. At the party, he was the life of the party. He had 20 people around him the whole time. Gary [Levingston], class guy. I don’t want to omit any of them, but just any one of them I think would do a great job."

What Chock Chapple’s Top Golden Bachelor Picks Mean For Franchise
Some Of The Golden Bachelorette Men Are Already Taken
Chock's four main choices for the next Golden Bachelor--Charles L., Jordan, Keith, and Gary--are all fantastic. Any one of them would make a phenomenal lead of the show. However, Jordan has been linked with Golden Bachelor runner-up Leslie Fhima, though she's said that they're just friends. It's interesting that Chock didn't mention Guy or Mark. However, Mark is rumored to be dating One Tree Hill actress Barbara Alyn Woods.
In addition, Chock omitted Golden Bachelor lead frontrunner Jonathan Rone after he announced that he's dating a woman named Michelle, so that would take him out of the running. Chock also left out Pascal Ibgui, which isn't surprising because Pascal had previously called Chock a stalker when describing his interactions with Joan, although he later apologized.
Our Take On Chock Chapple’s Picks For Next Golden Bachelor
Chock's Choices Are Terrific
Charles L., Jordan, Keith, and Gary would all make terrific Golden Bachelor leads. In particular, Charles L. has been a fan-favorite since the beginning of The Golden Bachelorette. He had one of the most beautiful experiences as he worked through his grief about the sudden loss of his wife due to a brain aneurysm six years ago. It would be wonderful to see Charles L. continue his journey in a season of his own, especially because he would be the first-ever Asian male lead of a Bachelor franchise show.
It would also be intriguing to see one of the men who left earlier in the season take on the lead of The Golden Bachelor because Bachelor Nation would have a chance to get to know them better. Men Chock didn't mention, such as Dan Roemer, Christopher Stallworth, Kim Buike, Charles King, and Michael Stevens, all have compelling stories that would make their seasons exciting to watch. The Golden Bachelorette had some spectacular men, so the choice of who will be the lead of The Golden Bachelor season 2 will be a tough one.
