The Golden Bachelorette Contestant Pascal Ibgui Apologizes To Joan Vassos After Calling Chock Chapple A Stalker

The Golden Bachelorette contestant Pascal Ibgui apologized to Joan Vassos after his self-elimination from the show, after which he called frontrunner Chock Chapple a stalker. Pascal left The Golden Bachelorette season 1 during his Fantasy Suite date with Joan, when he realized that he wasn't in love with her. After the show, in an interview with Glamour, Pascal called Chock a stalker because of what he thought was his possessiveness of Joan during the bowling group date.

Pascal addressed his Golden Bachelorette exit, and he apologized to Joan for not being the person she needed him to be.

In an Instagram post, Pascal addressed his Golden Bachelorette exit, and he apologized to Joan for not being the person she needed him to be. He shared, "I had the chance to watch the last episode of The Golden Bachelorette last night. What a journey. What a ride. I want to thank Joan for the opportunity. Sorry I couldn't be that special person needed to be with you. But I have all the confidence that you will find your person. And you're definitely worthy of love."

Pascal went on to thank the people in his life who made his Golden Bachelorette journey possible. He said, "I want to thank my children, my friends, my staff for the support and understanding. And thank you for Bachelor Nation to allow me to go on that journey. I met some incredible people. What a ride. I'm honored, humble, grateful. Thank you."

What Pascal Ibgui's Apology Means For His & Joan Vassos' Relationship

Joan Might Still Be Upset about Pascal's Comments About Chock

Although it was nice of Pascal to say that he was sorry to Joan and that she was worthy of love via Instagram, hopefully he had the chance to say these words to her in person as well. The "Men Tell All" episode is coming up, so it'll be interesting to see how they interact. Pascal left Joan feeling hopeless and wondering if she'd find love. Joan also said that she felt that she wasn't lovable. Hopefully, Pascal and Joan have been able to maintain their friendship because, when he left, they told each other that they loved each other.

However, now that Pascal has made negative comments about Chock, including calling him a stalker and saying that his behavior on the bowling group date was bizarre, this could drive a wedge between Pascal and Joan. If Joan chose Chock, she might not like that Pascal said these things against him. Pascal should explain his comments about Chock, and perhaps even apologize to him for using a word such as "stalker" to describe him.

Our Take On Pascal's Apology To Joan

Pascal Shouldn't Have Joined The Golden Bachelorette In The First Place

Based on everything that happened with Pascal on The Golden Bachelorette, it probably would've been better if he hadn't signed up for the show. He clearly wasn't over his past relationship, (which ended last year after two years and almost getting engaged), as it was very hard for him to bring down his walls. He shared that his daughter had signed him up for the show, and he never thought that he'd get that far. Pascal should've self-eliminated much earlier if he knew that he was never going to be able to give Joan what she wanted.
