Heather Tom has been part of the soap world for 35 years. The actress made her debut on The Young and the Restless as Victoria back in 1990.

Over her three decades in soaps, Tom has been on All My Children, One Life to Live, and is currently starring as Katie on The Bold and the Beautiful. Tom has had her fill of fan experiences over the years, and she shared two interesting ones recently.

Tom and her fellow The Bold and the Beautiful co-star, Lawrence Saint-Victor, are guests on the next episode of the podcast Soapy. They sit down for a chat with hosts Rebecca Budig, also from The Bold and the Beautiful, andDays of Our Lives star Greg Rikaart.

Parade received an exclusive clip from the podcast episode ahead of its release. In it, Budig asked the guests about their soapiest real life moment.

Saint-Victor called the question “dangerous” while Tom opted to reveal a couple of fan moments she felt were worth sharing.

“I don't know how soapy this is, but it was a fan experience that I thought might be worth telling. I was in a mall, and these two people came up to me and they're like ‘Oh my gosh, Victoria,’ this is when I was when I was young, ‘Victoria, we watch you every day through our television set.’ And I thought they were being kind of metaphorical, right, and I was like, ‘Oh, thank you. Thank you. Thank you.’ And they were like, ‘Do you see us through your television set?’ And I was like, ‘Well, I don't watch that much TV,” she shared.

Tom didn’t share only that fan experience. The actress also had one from her days on The Bold and the Beautiful.

“I also had another fan who came up one time and was like. ‘I just love you on Bold and Beautiful, but you need to really get rid of your sister.’ She [Tom's sister on Bold] was sleeping with my husband at the time. She [the fan] was like, 'I'm going through this thing in real life where like my husband can't stop sleeping with my sister.’ And I was like, ‘wow, I'm glad I'm doing something so relatable,’”Tom expressed.
