The Bold and The Beautiful's Heather Tom Recalls Victoria-Victor Slap on The Young and The Restless: "I Was Scared".

The Bold and the Beautiful's Heather Tom (Katie Logan) first earned her stripes as another woman in daytime: The Young and the Restless' Victoria Newman! Ahead of her writing, directing, and starring in a female-centric B&B ep, airing Thursday, Tom recalled one of Victoria's most shocking moments on Y&R to People.

That moment, of course, was when Victoria slapped her no-nonsense father, Victor (Eric Braeden). Tom recalled:

No one gets to slap Victor Newman. And so it was a big deal, and I was scared. I was like, 'Oh my God.' I was scared, literally.

She went on:

I knew that this was coming up. I was like, 'Well, I don't really know [where] this thing's going to go afterwards, so I guess we're just going to jump in.' But yeah, it played very well. It's something that people definitely remember, but I do vividly remember shooting that. And yeah, it was a thing.

Tom adored working alongside fellow powerhouse Braeden. She mused:

I loved working with Eric so much because you kind of never know. You never really knew where the scene was going to go. And it was so exciting, and it was such a great learning experience because you really, really, really had to listen and be on your toes and watch for or follow along. It's an amazing acting exercise.
