The Bachelor's Grant Ellis and Juliana Pasquarosa opened up about how their relationship is going right now, including what obstacles might still derail their engagement.
In a new interview with People, Grant and Juliana opened up about how their relationship is going right now, including what obstacles might still derail their engagement. Grant said that their respective dogs need to meet each other, adding, "I just got a puppy and [Juliana] has her dog Charlie." Juliana replied that her dog isn't a "big dog person" or "people person," so she's very interested in finding out how Charlie will get along with Grant and his puppy. After all, "Charlie's opinion matters the most," she concluded.
During the same interview, Grant and Juliana also gave some insight into what their living situation will be like going forward. Grant can't wait to move to Massachusetts, which is where Juliana lives. However, the Bachelor lead still plans to keep his house in Houston, Texas, "but I'm also going to come over there and we're going to make it work." When he arrives to the Boston area, he and Juliana will "take a peek at apartments and see what our vibe is like and where we want to be," according to his new fiancée.
What It Means For Grant & Juliana That “Charlie’s Opinion Matters The Most”
Would Juliana End Her Engagement Over Their Pets?
It's not surprising that Juliana wants to take her dog Charlie's feelings into consideration. There are a lot of people who don't want to date someone who doesn't get along with their pets. It makes complete sense for their pets to play a big role in their relationship going forward. Having said that, this stage typically happens during the early dating phase of a relationship, not after a couple has already gotten engaged. If it doesn't seem like Charlie likes Grant, the big question will be whether Juliana decides to stay engaged to him anyway.

Grant appears to be moving full steam ahead with his plans to move to Massachusetts. It's interesting that he still wants to keep his home in Houston. While this is a completely different situation, there are slight similarities to The Golden Bachelorette's Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple, who still live in Maryland and Kansas, respectively, while they try to find a home together in New York. Maybe Grant wants to stay connected to his community in Texas, even if his main residence changes to Boston.
