The Bachelor Season 29: Alexe Godin’s Age, Job, Instagram & More

The Bachelor season 29 features 25 contestants competing for leading man Grant Ellis' heart, and Alexe Godin is one of those women. Grant, a now-31-year-old day trader from Newark, New Jersey, got his Bachelor Nation start on Jenn Tran's Bachelorette season. After a beautiful one-on-one date in which they went horseback riding and had a picnic on the beach in the rain in New Zealand, he realized that he was falling for her, but she said goodbye to him right before her hometown dates. Grant was devastated because he said that his mission in life is to become a husband and a father.

Now Grant has a second chance to find his future wife on The Bachelor season 29. He was announced as the newest lead of the reality dating series immediately after he was eliminated from Jenn's season so that women could apply for the show to date him specifically. During Jenn's "Men Tell All" episode, host Jesse Palmer told Grant that over 10,000 more women applied for The Bachelor season 29 after he was announced. As Grant begins his journey, here's what to know about one of his contestants, Alexe.

What The Bachelor Season 29 Contestant Alexe Godin Is Looking For

Alexe Is Ready To Find The Man Of Her Dreams

According to her ABC bio, Alexe is ready to meet the man of her dreams. She hopes to find someone who's open-minded and hardworking, and who's "an all-around good human." Grant fits that description perfectly. He's very hardworking in the finance field after getting injured when playing professional basketball overseas. Rather than give up and allow his injury to ruin his life, he found another path.

Grant is also a great person who's very open-minded. The biggest piece of evidence about this is how he's worked through trying to rebuild his complicated relationship with his father. During Jenn's season, Grant opened up to her about his father, who's struggled with addiction for the past 30 years. He explained that his father was everything to him as he was growing up, but he didn't know that he was drinking and lying to him. The final straw for Grant was when, before he left to film The Bachelorette, his father was fired from his job.

However, things turned around when Grant's father called him and told him that he was checking into rehab. Grant told Jenn that it was the proudest that he'd ever been of him. At the time, Grant's dad had been sober for two months, and they were rebuilding their relationship. Grant said that his mission in life is to be the man that his father wasn't.

In Grant's ABC bio, he shared that he plans to visit every country in his lifetime, so Alexe's love for travel might be very attractive to him.

In one of her latest Instagram posts, Alexe announced that she was going to be a contestant on The Bachelor season 29. She shared her promotional photo, along with the caption, "Tune in to #TheBachelor Monday, January 27th @ 8pm on ABC for Linda the llama."

Alexe was referring to her Bachelor premiere night limousine entrance (shared in a preview on the Bachelor Instagram page), which revealed that she brought a real llama to the mansion, introducing her as Linda, her "no-drama llama." After saying "Oh my God," after initially seeing the llama, Grant replied, "And I'm a fan of no drama." If Alexe is serious about being drama-free, then she'll be a refreshing change from many of the other Bachelor season 29 contestants, who are shown crying and arguing in the preview. That trait will be very attractive to Grant.

Alexe and Grant have a lot in common, so there's a great chance that they made a love connection during The Bachelor season 29. If she really does focus on Grant and not drama, then they'll have a good chance of falling in love. Whether or not Grant and Alexe fall in love, she'll definitely be one to watch on The Bachelor season 29.
