The Bachelor: Joey Graziadei & Kelsey Anderson's Relationship Could Hit A Major Setback With The DWTS Tour (Will This Cause Them To Break Up?)

Because of the Dancing With The Stars Live 2025 tour, The Bachelor season 28 couple Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson are in a long-distance relationship for the first time since they met, but their relationship is strong enough that they can survive this small setback. Joey and Kelsey got engaged at the end of The Bachelor season 28 on November 12, 2023, and they've been inseparable ever since. He immediately moved into her New Orleans home after their finale aired, and they eventually relocated to Los Angeles, where they're currently living.

The Bachelor: Joey Graziadei & Kelsey Anderson's Relationship Could Hit A Major Setback With The DWTS Tour (Will This Cause Them To Break Up?)

After The Bachelor season 28, Joey competed in and won Dancing With The Stars season 33, along with his professional dance partner, Jenna Johnson. He made history as the first male Bachelor Nation member to win the show. As part of his duties as the winner of the show, Joey is performing in DWTS Live 2025 tour, traveling around the country to various cities. This means that, for the first time in their relationship, Joey and Kelsey are spending significant time apart, but they have what it takes to make it through it.

Joey Graziadei & Kelsey Anderson Will Be Away From Each Other For Two Months

Kelsey Has Admitted To Having 'FOMO' While Joey Is Away

Joey has already completed his first run of the DWTS Live 2025 tour, and he'll have about a month off before he rejoins the cast. He isn't performing on every tour stop, but only select dates. The first of Joey's tour stops included Buffalo, NY (1/21, but postponed due to a snowstorm); Schenectady, NY (1/22); University Park, Pennsylvania (1/23); Oxon Hill, MD (1/24); Bethlehem, PA (1/25); and Philadelphia, PA (1/26).

After about a month off, Joey will leave for the tour again for several more tour dates, including Greensboro, NC (2/25); Spartanburg, SC (2/26); Jacksonville, FL (2/27); Hollywood, FL (2/28); Clearwater, FL (3/1); Orlando, FL (3/2); N. Charleston, SC (3/4); Huntsville, AL (3/5); Memphis, TN (3/6); Biloxi, MS (3/7 and 3/8); Sugar Land, TX (3/9); Grand Prairie, TX (3/11); Austin, TX (3/12); and San Antonio, TX (3/13).

In an Instagram story, Kelsey admitted that she had FOMO (fear of missing out) because she wasn't at the DWTS Live 2025 tour with Joey. She shared a photograph in which a fan had tagged her that showed Joey and his fellow DWTS season 33 contestant Stephen Nedoroscik standing on stage dressed as cowboys. Kelsey wrote, "I'm having so much FOMO y'all pls tag me in all DWTS tour Joey content I need to live it through y'all."

Kelsey's enthusiasm for Joey's performances proves that she's not at all resentful that he's away from her on the tour. It's very evident that she wants him to be happy, and she supports him in everything he does. Joey has also been a wonderful partner to Kelsey, which began during his season. In fact, it was so obvious to everyone that Kelsey was The One, that runner-up Daisy Kent even self-eliminated to allow Joey and Kelsey to enjoy their engagement without the burden of her breakup in the background.

Of course, it's also possible that Kelsey will travel to one of Joey's tour dates to watch him perform live. She was always such a supportive cheerleader for him in the live audience when he was competing on DWTS, so it would be very surprising if she didn't attend at least one show. However, even if Kelsey and Joey didn't see each other from February 25 to March 13, their relationship would survive because they can talk on the phone and video chat. Their relationship is strong enough to survive long-distance.

The DWTS Live 2025 Tour Isn't The Reason That Joey & Kelsey Are Waiting To Get Married

Joey Has Always Wanted A Long Engagement

One of the biggest concerns about Joey joining DWTS was that people thought that it caused him and Kelsey to postpone their wedding plans. In an October 2024 interview with Us Weekly, Joey shared that he and Kelsey had put wedding planning on the backburner while he focused on DWTS. He said, "I think really right now our goal is to get through this dancing." Joey also shared that the couple then would have to figure out a new home after the show, stating, "Get settled where we’re gonna be living next. And then it’s gonna be to figure out a date, figure out location, get everything kind of cleaned up a little bit."

Now that Joey and Kelsey have found their home in Los Angeles, and Joey's DWTS Live 2025 tour experience is almost over, they can start to plan their wedding. However, they're not in any rush. In a January 2025 interview with People, Kelsey revealed that she and Joey don't plan to get married until 2026 or 2027. She explained, "We're not getting married this year, possibly next year or the following, because we got engaged so fast, we got engaged in two months. So we want to really take our time still getting to know each other." Therefore, DWTS isn't the reason that Joey and Kelsey have put their wedding plans on hold.

In fact, Kelsey shared that she can't wait to start planning. She said, "I'm really excited to start planning it. We are planning it in the next six months." They don't yet have a wedding date or location picked out. However, this isn't concerning at all because, during The Bachelor season 28, Joey made it very clear that, if he got engaged at the end of his season, he had no intention of jumping into marriage. He shared that he wanted to have a two- to three-year engagement, and then wait a couple of years after getting married to have children.

If Kelsey wasn't on board with Joey's timeline, then she wouldn't have gotten engaged to him. It's a good thing that Joey and Kelsey are taking the time to get to know each other and have exciting experiences such as competing on DWTS before tying the knot. This way, they won't have any resentment or regret about getting married too fast. This will make Kelsey and Joey stronger as a couple, and their marriage will hopefully last forever.

Joey & Kelsey Have Survived Being In A Public Bachelor Relationship

The DWTS Live 2025 Tour Is Only A Bump In The Road

If Joey and Kelsey could survive being in a very public relationship after The Bachelor season 28, then their separation during the DWTS Live 2025 tour will be but a bump in the road. So many Bachelor Nation couples have broken up after their finales aired because they couldn't withstand the pressure that comes from being in a relationship in the public eye. Joey and Kelsey have been engaged for over a year now, so their relationship is no longer brand-new. They now know each other on a deeper level, and their relationship will be even sweeter when they're finally reunited.

Although Joey and Kelsey being separated because of the DWTS Live 2025 tour could be viewed as a detriment to their relationship, they have what it takes to survive it. Joey and Kelsey are deeply in love, and being apart for two months won't ruin what they have. They've been so supportive of each other throughout their relationship, and they really do seem to be best friends. After the DWTS Live 2025 tour is over, Kelsey and Joey will plan their wedding, get married, and live happily ever after.
