Joey recently appeared on the Lightweights with Joe Vulpis podcast on YouTube, where he revealed that he and Kelsey had decided to stay in Los Angeles.

In the end, it's clear that Joey got his way, and Kelsey's dream of living in the Big Apple will be put on the back burner for now. At least they won't have to keep living with Kelsey's roommates.
