The Bachelor 29: Litia Garr Isn't Over Grant Ellis (She Has A Warning For Juliana)

Some time has gone by since her heart was broken on The Bachelor season 29, and Litia Garr may still be in love with Grant Ellis, as she's commenting on his engagement. The 31-year-old venture capitalist is warning Grant's winner and new fiancée, Juliana Pasquarosa. Litia made her television debut as one of the 25 single women who dated Grant, a 31-year-old day trader and former professional basketball player. By the time Litia met Grant, she already knew who he was. He appeared on Jenn Tran's season of The Bachelorette, so he was already famous within the Bachelor Nation community.

Grant liked Litia from the moment she stepped out of the limousine on night one of The Bachelor season 29. The two connected almost instantly, and they spent the entire season falling in love. Grant even told Litia that he loved her. The problem was, he also told Juliana that he loved her. With Grant falling in love with two different women, it was only a matter of time before he broke one of their hearts. During the final rose, Grant gave Juliana his final rose, sending a shocked Litia home in tears. She's still not over the rejection.

Grant Ellis Seemed So Decisive...At First

He Changed His Mind Wildly Throughout The Season

From the start of The Bachelor season 29, Grant seemed indecisive and unsure of himself. He gave his first impression rose to 27-year-old Alexe Godin, then seemed to immediately forget about her. He gave one of his hometown dates to The Bachelor's Zoe McGrady, 27, who had barely seemed to notice before. His wildest swing was when he eliminated 31-year-old Dina Lupanco, who seemed to be one of his favorites. It's great to be open-minded, but Grant never seemed to know what he wanted.

Athletic, attractive and successful, Grant seemed like the perfect choice to be the lead of The Bachelor season 29, but he may not have been properly prepared for the experience. Part of the problem may be that Grant isn't ready to settle down and get married, despite the fact that he says that's what he's looking for. He may want a wife and children, but that doesn't mean he's ready to commit so deeply.

Litia Was Sure She Would Win Grant Ellis' Final Rose

Litia isn't the first woman to feel like she was misled by a Bachelor lead. She walked in to that final rose ceremony with confidence. Earlier, during the final episode, she looked right into the camera and expressed no doubt that she and Grant would be getting engaged soon. She was completely blindsided when Grant dumped her. During The Bachelor season 29 finale, Litia told Jesse that Grant had misled her. “Grant and I had talked a lot about that day, and everything that he had ever said about it was that it was going to be us,” Litia said.

"I’m not gonna sit up there and argue with her on stage about what she thought I said."

“We were getting engaged from, you know, the first one-on-one that we had in L.A. until the night before that day," Litia went on to tell Jesse. "I remember saying goodbye to him and saying, ‘Oh my gosh, we are getting engaged tomorrow.’ And he said, ‘I know, I can’t wait. I love you. I love you. I love you.’ Those were the last words that he said to me before I walked up there. So it was a shock.” She also claimed he said he wanted to end the season early because he knew she was the one.

Grant didn't refute any of Litia's claims at the time. During The Bachelor season 29 finale, he let her say whatever she wanted to. Since then, he responded to her allegations in an exclusive with Us Weekly. In the interview, he said that he didn't agree with Litia's take on what happened. “But I let her speak her truth and her piece," Grant said. "I’m not gonna sit up there and argue with her on stage about what she thought I said."

"I'm Not Mad Anymore"

It's been two months since The Bachelor season 29 finale aired, and Litia's still thinking about Grant. "I'm not mad anymore," she recently told Us Weekly during an exclusive interview. "It's disappointing and I desire accountability - I think that is all I really cared about." During the interview, Litia talked about her last few moments with Grant, after her elimination. According to Litia, they talked for 45 minutes after the breakup, so she feels like she got plenty of time to get everything off her chest.

She Should "Have A Lot Of Questions"

During the interview, Litia was asked about her warning to Juliana. Litia had once said that Juliana should "have a lot of questions" about her relationship with Grant. Her implication was that Grant's indecision is a sign that he may not be as committed to the relationship as she thinks. Litia seemed to stick by her warning, though she made it clear that she felt no hostility towards Juliana. "I wish her happiness and I hope everything's going well," Litia said.

After feeling so misled by Grant, no one could blame Litia for struggling to move on from The Bachelor. It's not just the fact that he ended up choosing someone else, but that he blindsided her. It's easy to see how Litia can feel misled, but that doesn't mean Grant did anything wrong.
