Washington Commanders veteran wide receiver Terry McLaurin is coming off of his fifth-straight 1,000-yard season and a career high 13 touchdown catches. But with just one year left on the contract extension he signed in 2022, “Scary Terry’s” absence from mandatory minicamps is a little frightening for Commanders fans. McLaurin is not only a star wideout but a fan favorite in Washington as well, where he’s been a rare example of stability. In his first five years with the Commanders, McLaurin didn’t miss a game while catching passes from 10 different starting quarterbacks and survived a change in ownership. But in his first year with QB No.11 – Offensive Rookie of the Year Jayden Daniels – he exploded for 1,096 yards and the most TDs of his career while helping the Commanders make a surprise run to the NFC Championship Game.
