Texans' Tank Dell shows off insane tattoo following freak injury

Houston Texans receiver Tank Dell might be recovering from a terrible leg injury from last December, but he made time to get the most gruesome tattoo from most people's nightmares.

While under anesthesia, the former Alabama A&M standout got a full-leg tattoo featuring horror film stars like Scream, Chucky, Michael Myers and more. The video is below.

Dell suffered a freak injury against the Kansas City Chiefs last year. He dislocated his left kneecap, along with tearing all the outside ligaments in his knee. After several rounds of surgeries, Dell is on the mend but is expected to miss the 2025-26 NFL season.

As one of the rising stars in the league, Dell has 98 receptions for 1,376 yards and ten touchdowns over the past two seasons in Houston.

Dell's tattoo might represent his unbroken spirit during his time in the NFL.

Outside of his latest injury, Houston's third-round pick from the 2023 NFL Draft had his rookie season cut short by a broken fibula that also required surgery. He has shown tremendous talent and potential while healthy, we'll see if he can recover to stay on track in 2026.
