Houston Texans burgeoning star C.J. Stroud believes Tom Brady is the ideal player for modern quarterbacks to study and emulate.

"He's the blueprint, who you would model your game after," Stroud said on Boardroom's Cover Story (4:00 mark). "You've gotta be yourself, in the same way, he'll tell you that. He wanted to be a great teammate, and that's something that I wanna be as well."

Brady's seven Super Bowl titles, three MVPs and 15 Pro Bowl berths make him an easy argument for GOAT status, and in turn, a smart player for young players to study. His ability to process coverages and go through his reads with lightning speed, almost always making the right decision, was one of the game's most potent super powers in its history.

It also isn't something that just any player will be able to replicate, in the same way that Patrick Mahomes' improvisation and cannon for an arm, or Lamar Jackson's elite speed and play-extending abilities, are unique traits.

But Stroud is wise to glean everything he can from the greats, and Brady stands atop that mountain.
