Teresa Giudice Reveals Why She Has To Be Asked Back to RHONJ

Teresa Giudice thinks she will be asked back to “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.”

On the December 31 episode of the “AllAboutTRH” podcast, the veteran RHONJ star told hosts Roxanne Bahri and Shantel Butras that she is confident of her return to the Bravo reality show. “I mean I still want to be on, I still want to be on TV and I hope they have me back,” she said. “Listen, they have to have the OG back, they have to, you know. They can’t just let it end that way, so they have to,” she added. “I mean, it’s inevitable.”

Giudice is the only original cast member remaining on RHONJ. The 14th season of the Bravo reality show also included Dolores Catania, Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Danielle Cabral, and  Rachel Fuda, and “friends” Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Fessler.

The 15th season of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” is on “pause” following a volatile 14th season. Bravo producer Andy Cohen told Us Weekly that an official announcement about the show may not come for a year.

While speaking with Bahri and Butras on the “Turning the Tables” podcast, Giudice was asked if she thought the whole RHONJ cast could all come back next season. She quickly responded, “No.”

She noted that Cohen hinted the show may not return until 2026. “I guess if it’s gonna come back, he’s gonna bring some people back,” she said of the old cast. “Not to toot my own horn, but I think I am the fans’ favorite.”

Giudice also clarified that if her estranged brother Joe Gorga approached her and said he’d like to do the show with her, it was too late for that. If they think a break is going to bring me and my brother back, that’s done,” she said.

Teresa Giudice Hopes New Doors Will Open in 2025

Giudice told AllAboutTHR that she is hoping for “new doors to open” for her in 2025. She added, “I’m so not done being on TV, so hopefully new things are you know, going to come on the horizon. I feel like I definitely want to do that.”

“And you know what, I’ve been telling my husband too, it’s like and even my kids, when one door closes, I feel like another one opens,” she said. “So sometimes it’s good when a door closes because, you know, maybe it was not meant for you anymore.”

“I feel like God’s always has looked out for me,” she added, before noting that Bravo brought her the show “Theresa Checks In” after she was sentenced to prison in 2015. Giudice served 11 months at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut, for charges of bankruptcy fraud.

“I was so grateful for like, they, you know, Bravo brought that to us,” she said of her spinoff show. “I love that Bravo gave me the respect and that they waited a year for me to come home, you know, and I was happy about that.”
