The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom shared a major update in co-parenting with her ex-husband.
Teresa Giudice and her ex-husband, Joe Giudice, have been divorced for four years, but they are still keeping their co-parenting relationship strong. This isn't exactly easy for The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom, who still lives in New Jersey, while Joe currently lives in the Bahamas. But they are able to make things work for the sake of their four daughters.
Teresa appeared on Lala Kent's Give Them Lala podcast on Dec. 4, where she revealed that she is able to take care of their daughters financially, while Joe remains in the Bahamas. "I take care of everything," Teresa explained. "I do everything."
This includes helping her two middle daughters, Gabriella Giudice and Milania Giudice, currently enrolled in college pay for their college tuition. "The kids have a small amount of money that Joe gives them, but I pay for colleges, everything," she added. "It's all on me."
Teresa continued, noting that she and Joe continue to remain amicable for all four girls. "I do it for my kids," she said. "I keep the peace for them."
Teresa Giudice's best advice for being a "girl mom"
Teresa's dedication to her daughters is very apparent as she revealed in a bonus episode of the Give Them Lala podcast on Dec. 9, where she answered questions and opened up about what it's like to be a mom to daughters. "I know it's hard," she explained. "To me, that's all I know because I'm a girl mom."
"I always do it with a smile on my face," she continued. "With my daughters, I know they know how much I love them and adore them. I don't know, it's like, when you're a mom, just be happy. Don't be bitchy to your daughters or if they are, just try to ask them what's wrong or something. Because you know what, nowadays, high school, and even middle school, it's hard...Try to make the door open that if they are struggling with something, that they could speak to you and tell you about it."
Joe has certainly helped with this. During a November episode of her own podcast, Turning the Tables By Teresa Giudice, she revealed that Joe is super open with their daughters. "Joe is very open with our girls," she admitted. "For them not to be afraid to talk about anything."
"You always want them to speak to you first, instead of their friends, because sometimes their friends, you don't know what advice they're getting from their friends," she continued.
Teresa Giudice explains the personality dynamic between her four daughters
Teresa said it herself: being a girl mom isn't easy, especially when it comes to her daughters — Gia Giudice, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana Giudice — who all have different personalities. But, Teresa revealed on Give Them Lala that they also seem to balance each other out. "Gabriella and Audriana are the quieter ones, and then Gia and Milania are more outspoken," she explained.
Teresa also pointed out that Milania has been very outspoken since birth, noting that she has "a mind of her own, a mouth that she's not afraid to use." "It's what we try to instill in our girls, and Milania is just freaking born with it. It's like, what more could you ask for?" she added.
