Teresa Giudice Reveals Her Daughters' Big Holiday Request: "It’s an Italian Thing"

When it comes to cooking for the holidays, Teresa Giudice knows exactly what her daughters like to eat. And when The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom spoke to The Daily Dish ahead of the holiday season, she revealed the exact meal her kids wanted her to cook for them when they all convene in the Garden State for Thanksgiving.

"For Thanksgiving, they don’t want me to make a turkey," Teresa shared in an October phone interview with The Daily Dish about the meal her daughters Gia Giudice, Gabriella Giudice, Audriana Giudice, and Milania Giudice have requested their mom whip up this Thanksgiving. "They’re like, 'Mom just make lasagna.' And they love my ham. So I guess a lasagna and ham."

The menu is a reflection of the family traditions that Teresa experienced growing up as well. "My mom used to always make lasagna for Thanksgiving," she said. "It’s an Italian thing."

Teresa Giudice plans to open a restaurant with her family

Speaking of her mom's recipes, Teresa plans to pay homage to her late mom, Antonia Gorga, in a major way with her plans to open a restaurant in New Jersey in what she's hoping is the near future. "I'm in the process of doing that, so it's....actively looking at places," she noted in the same interview, adding the plans were still fluid.

Teresa added that she wanted to include "all" of the recipes from her late mother on the menu. "I've always wanted to open up a restaurant and finally now, I'm like, you know what, I'm gonna do it," she said, adding that as the year wraps up, "I think my plate will be very full with that, I'll be very content with that."

Will Teresa Giudice's daughters spend the holidays 2024 with Joe Giudice?

Now that the 2024 holiday season is officially here, Teresa also shared if her kids will head down to the Bahamas this season to visit their dad, Joe Giudice, at any point before the end of the year.

"They’re all coming home; they’re gonna spend Thanksgiving with us. I think they’re going to see Joe for teacher’s convention the week before Thanksgiving. So they’re going to the Bahamas to go see their dad, they’ll spend the week before Thanksgiving with him and then they’re gonna spend Thanksgiving with me," she said.

"We want to go away for New Year’s Eve," Teresa added. "And we don’t know where yet, we're in the process of figuring out where we want to go."
