Season 14 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey was memorable – in a gut-wrenching way. As a fan from the jump, to see the show collapse was painful. On one hand, there was Team Teresa Giudice. And then we had Team Melissa Gorga. The two sisters-in-law broke ties during the previous season. The fighting among all the cast members was vicious during the Season 14 finale. Finally, it was clear that the show, as we knew it, had ended. Bravo even scuttled reunion plans. However, Andy Cohen is working on a plan to save RHONJ. For now, though, the show is on hiatus.
Teresa Giudice gave a hard pass to working with Melissa Gorga
Kim DePaola was recently a guest on Teresa’s podcast, Turning the Tables. And the two ladies chatted about national politics. Just kidding! Teresa talked about how she won’t work with Melissa.
“Even if I get offered a job with my sister-in-law, I will not do it. I got offered a commercial for Deadpool. And I refused it,” Teresa stated. “And she accepted, I refused it.” The RHONJ OG added that the job would have been “a good payday.”
Teresa continued, “I was like, ‘Absolutely not.’ Like, I’m not doing anything – so anybody out there listening, don’t even approach, like, the two of us doing something together because that ship sailed,” she added. Well, Heather Dubrow and Shannon Beador of The Real Housewives of Orange County filmed the Deadpool & Wolverine commercial. So, all good there.
Next, Teresa once again stressed how she is never, ever, getting together with her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife. “We’re done, we’re done. We’re never making up. That’s never going to happen,” she stated. “And I mean, [Joe] made his bed, he can lay in it now.”
Teresa continued, “I never thought fame and money would ruin my family. It wasn’t my doing. It was my family, you know, that picked fame and money over me.” Pot, meet kettle.
After that, Teresa once again denied the stories that she and Jennifer Aydin fed stories to bloggers. “People are putting out there that – cast members on my show – that Jennifer and I were talking to bloggers. First of all, everyone talks to bloggers,” Teresa stated. “Everyone. Because bloggers are fans.” She added, “I never told a blogger to put out anything bad about anyone.”
Of course, Andy has made it clear that this cast cannot move forward. So, now everyone is waiting to see if we are looking at a complete reboot or a partial reboot. Fingers crossed that Bravo can come up with something to satisfy RHONJ fans.
Real Housewives of New Jersey is streaming on Peacock.
