Ever since Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs starting dating during the summer of 2023, it seems as if these two have been at the center of marriage talk. Can’t a couple get to know each other and enjoy each other’s company without getting asked about marriage all the time? Plus, if these two do get married, then people are going to start asking about kids right away, too.
Lately, that marriage talk has been even louder. Now, it appears Swift is addressing some of that talk, even though it was really more of a comment to a fan.
Swift, 35, has some time on her hands, since her Eras Tour wrapped up in December and she currently doesn’t have any gigs in the books. She could be working on new music, but for now, it appears she’s in Florida, spending time with her man, Kelce.
Swift took some free time to visit with sick patients in the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida, on Friday, June 13. How sweet is that?
While there, she was captured on camera telling one fan that she was in Florida because “boyfriend” was there right now. So, not her husband, but her boyfriend.
The X account Taylor Swift Updates shared the special moment with a video clip. “Taylor Swift answering a patient’s question about why she’s in Florida,” the account posted, with her quote, “My boyfriend is training here, so I just thought I’d come and see how you’re doing.”
When you watch the video, you can hear the young boy asking, “Why are you in Florida?” She replies, “My boyfriend is training here, so I just thought I’d come and see how you’re doing, just drop in on you, you know what I mean?”
The chief of surgery at the hospital, Jill Whitehouse, M.D., also shared a photo with Swift, so it appears the staff was excited to have such a superstar guest.
“Chief of Surgery meets Chief of the World,” Dr. Whitehouse shared on Instagram. “Undeniably one of the kindest human beings I have ever had the privilege of meeting. Thank you #taylorswift for making dreams come true for all of our patients, families, and staff today.”
The Kansas City Chiefs, like Swift, also give back to the community. Chiefs in the Community has a range of community programs and events throughout the year that enhance the community and Chiefs fans.
Last week, the Chiefs took to Instagram to share some footage and clips of players meeting with a fan.
“With the help of the non-profit Mile Monsters, Turbo, who has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, spent the day touring our stadium and facility and capped it off with a visit to one of our practices,” the team post on their official Instagram page, along with a gallery of photos of video clips featuring Turbo meeting the players, including Patrick Mahomes. In the clip, Mahomes even gives Turbo a football. It’s a very touching moment.
