Tamra Judge's estranged teen daughter brands her 'mentally and verbally abusive' and embarrassing after RHOC star goes public with family feud

The estranged teen daughter of Real Housewives Of Orange County star Tamra Judge has posted a scathing take-down of her mother in a new Facebook post.

Sidney Barney branded her mother 'mentally and verbally' abusive and lashed out at her for using her and her siblings 'as storylines' on the show.

The teen's post was in response to 48-year-old Tamra's teary confession on Monday's episode of the RHOC Reunion show that she's been estranged from her daughter for two years.

Considered response: Tamra Judge's teen daughter Sidney Barney posted a scathing message on Facebook on Wednesday in response to her mother going public about their family feud
The fallout came in the wake of Tamra's split and nasty 2011 divorce from Sidney's father Simon, who last year battled Tamra for custody of their three children (Sidney, 17, Spencer, 15, and Sophia, aged nine).

Simon has full custody of Sidney, while the former couple share joint custody of Spencer and Sophia.

On Wednesday night, Sidney took to her public Facebook profile, and revealed she had watched Monday's reunion show and was 'disappointed'.

She wrote: 'I try not to talk about personal family matters with my friends, but I was made aware that my mother was talking about me and discussing our personal family matters on the show again.

'At this point I think it is necessary to tell the truth since she does not know how to tell the truth.'

Sidney then went on to blast her mother - who is now married to third husband Eddie Judge - for her 'embarrassing' behavior and concluded: 'Obviously, I am just another storyline that feeds her fame and her wallet.'

Explaining her side on the rift, Sidney wrote: 'For the past two years I’ve been asking her to stop treating me badly, to stop doing embarrassing [sic] and talking about me on the show, and to not use my siblings and I as storylines.

'Clearly she hasn’t followed through with anything that would have made me go back to her house. After telling her this for two years in consoling [sic], she still hasn’t recognized that these problems are between her and I and continues to make this about my father and her.'

On Monday's reunion show, Tamra broke down in tears as she told host Andy Cohen about her difficult relationship with Sidney.

Struggling to control her voice and insisting it was 'something I’ve never talked about’, Tamra then described how her custody battle with her ex Simon Barney destroyed her relationship with Sidney, who was 17 at the time.

She recalled how Sidney confronted her one day and said: 'I don’t want to live with you anymore.’

'She basically left home that day and two years later has not come back,’ she sobbed, insisting she had 'no idea where it was coming from’.

'I was trying to do everything I could do to try to get her back and I couldn’t understand why Sydney left,' she wailed.

Tamra said she once got a text from Sidney who told her 'I love you’ only for that to be ruined by stories in the press about her custody battle with Sidney’s dad.

'She never talked to me again,’ she said tearfully.

'I tried so hard to get her help - went to court, went to therapy,’ she said, insisting her ex shut her down.

'I went to court to get her help - and he fought me not to get here help. And he won. The judge said, ''She’s 17, she can choose who she wants to live with'' - and that’s it.’

To make matters worse, her son Spencer lives with her and refuses to speak to his dad.

'So the whole family is just so separated,’ she sobbed.

When Cohen asked why she kept it hidden from the reality TV show, she said: 'If your child turns her back on you it’s humiliating, its embarrassing. And then I’m in the press being called ''a monster mom''…’

When Cohen warned that her ex-husband Simon may respond to her speaking out on the reunion, she insisted: 'I don’t care anymore - he’s not going to push me around, tell me what to do. I’ve kept quiet because of him for so long and now I’m speaking out.’

On Tuesday, the day after the first part of the reunion show, Tamra posted a follow-up message on Facebook, explaining why she had dredged up her family heartache.

She insisted it wasn't planned and 'even the producers were shocked'.

'I love my daughter more than anything in the world and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about her and cry,' she added.

Meanwhile, her ex Simon posted a quotation from mental health expert and author Gail Meyers on Tuesday, alluding to Tamra as a 'narcissist' and 'emotional vampire'.
