The Golden State Warriors have a whole lot to fight for over their final two games. They control their own fate, but still have a lot of work to do to secure one of the top six spots in the Western Conference, and avoid the play-in tournament. But their biggest goal over their last two games is to stay as healthy as possible, so they can be at full strength for the postseason.
Unfortunately, those plans hit a road block on Friday. In the first quarter of Golden State’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers, Steph Curry appeared to hurt his right hand while dribbling. He was seen shaking it off, before leaving the game and heading to the locker room. When the second quarter began, Curry was still in the locker room.
No one needs to be told of the severity of a potential Curry injury. They’re simply not equipped to handle him missing any time at all.
We’ll keep you updated as we learn more.
