Stassi Schroeder recalled her one demand before filming Vanderpump Villa, and she addressed castmate Marciano Brunette’s controversy with The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Demi Engemann, who guest-starred on the show. The Vanderpump Rules alum also discussed her onscreen fight with her husband, Beau Clark, and her new docuseries, Stassi Says.
Earlier this month, Marciano claimed he was uninvited to a recent function because Demi feared he would tell her husband “the truth.” But Demi seemingly responded by writing a post about “unwanted physical touch.”
On the Taste of Taylor podcast, Stassi compared filming for Vanderpump Villa to Vanderpump Rules. She said it was nice not having to “work” at the villa, as she could sip on drinks and make friends with the staff. But she was constantly being filmed, besides in her bedroom.
Stassi hinted that she agreed to film for Pump Villa as long as her friends and family, who are the cast of her Hulu docuseries, could visit the castle and film as guests.
“It was like a no-brainer for everyone,” she said. “It was easy. No pulling teeth.”
The star also shared how her Pump Villa castmate Marciano claimed he was uninvited to a Hulu event because “a certain Mormon wife doesn’t want him to tell the truth to her husband.” According to Stassi, other ‘Mormon Wives’ then suggested that Marciano is “justified” and “not wrong.”
“But like now there’s more s**t out there,” Stassi added. “It’s so wild … Demi is accusing Marciano of something, and it’s like a whole big thing.”
At one point, Stassi addressed her onscreen fight with Beau about his refusal to get a tattoo of her name, even though he has a tattoo of his sister Georgia. According to Stassi, Beau and Georgia do “whacky” things like hold hands and link arms because it’s an “Italian” thing.
“It’s f**king weird to me,” she said, laughing. “It’s their culture … I’m not mad about that, but I need to call it out.” Stassi claimed that, after the argument, she was pushed to go to therapy.
As for her onscreen comment that she and Beau had sex in their child’s ball pit, Stassi confirmed that it happened, and she never replaced the balls.
Regarding her own Hulu show, Stassi said she can’t “go into details,” but they’ve already “filmed parts of it.”
