Sold on SLC is back with another round of chaos and contracts via Episode 3. Last week, we met an outside realtor named Paige. Paige used to work for Presidio, and when she left, she kept in touch with many of the agents, specifically Malaysia, with whom she still collaborates on various listings. Jennifer hates that Malaysia has to settle multiple contracts with Paige. Split commissions between brokerages suck.
Speaking of annoyed feelings, Matt and Tyna remain at odds despite their mediation sit-down with Jennifer. On the other hand, Sarah is now getting less of a side-eye from her boss after her husband explained that he is not poaching agents from Presidio. But can Malaysia equally exit the hot seat?

What happened in Sold on SLC Episode 3?
This week, Jennifer finally confronts Paige. Sadly, their heated exchange failed to bring peace. This landmine of ladies is getting hard for Malaysia to navigate, as she still has to work with Paige to finish their shared dealings while reassuring Jennifer that she is all in at Presidio.
Equally frustrated is Matt. His wife has left town (for a short bit), so he is now on his own with his career and their children. What could go wrong? A lot, actually, but not with his children.
Instead, Matt winds up in the hot seat for entirely different reasons.
Malaysia is growing weary of her “bad guy” title while Matt stresses over his finances
Malaysia and Sarah meet up for a martial arts session with a HOT instructor. These equally stunning ladies are physically strong. Emotionally, however, Malaysia is struggling. She spoke candidly with Jennifer about the buyers she still shares with Paige, yet Jennifer continues to look at her sideways.
Sarah, however, is worried about Kenny. He keeps placing himself in the middle of this Jennifer vs Malaysia and Paige storyline, and his incessant questions are growing old. Malaysia agrees. She wants this false narrative to cease, as she is not a rotten realtor at Presidio.
Across town, Matt is helping his wife Nicole pack. Nicole works for an MLM, so she has to attend a retreat with this company. From her confessional, Jennifer notes that she buys gut health products from Nicole.
Matt has to take on daddy duties while Nicole is away. Yet, he is happy that his wife has found her path. Nicole, however, still feels stressed, as their finances are struggling.
On a lighter note, Christian, another agent at Presidio, has not sold anything. So, he now assists Jennifer, as paychecks are needed. Also, I could watch an entire series on these two. They are equally a good time.
Jennifer clears the air with Malaysia as Sarah hopes to gain her boss’s respect at Presidio
Jennifer and Malaysia are working on a sale together, but the potential buyer for this property is working with Paige. Annoyed, Jennifer calls Malaysia into her office. As Jennifer reiterates her surprise over Malaysia bringing Paige into their shared listing, Malaysia once again explains that Jennifer should not be surprised, as she already gave her this information during their boozy night out, which flashbacks prove.
Nevertheless, in her confessional, Jennifer stresses that Malaysia is a solo agent, so hopefully, Malaysia can quickly wrap up her dealings with Paige. For now, however, Jennifer and Malaysia are at peace.
Jennifer is still not thrilled with Paige.
Meanwhile, Sarah, her husband Chris, and her mother are at the pickleball courts. Pulling Chris aside, Sarah reveals that she has a buyer for a luxury listing. This buyer desires to finance their purchase through the seller. Therefore, Sarah wants to turn to Jennifer for advice, hoping that this chat will equally display her loyalty and work ethic at Presidio.
But also, last year, Sarah won the best-dressed award at Presidio. This year, she desires a win that reflects her business acumen instead.
Matt enters his single-parent era while Kenny ticks Jennifer off
Nicole has left town. Matt shows a listing via his cell phone camera, admitting that the work-life-parenting balance is challenging. Flashbacks emerge, showing a lot.
First, Matt and his children appear, fully engaged in a backyard water balloon fight. Following this, we get a Tom Cruise-inspired Matt dancing in a white button-down shirt and boxers. Then, we see a basketball court filled by Matt and his pals. Finally, Matt prepares a healthy dinner of homemade waffles, complete with whipped cream.
Matt is doing well enough.
However, his sister owns the property Matt is currently listing, but his potential buyer wants to place a low offer on her house. His brother-in-law is not thrilled about this, stating that he is not rushing to sell his home. To help, Matt reduced his commission, but his relatives are stuck on meh.
Matt feels the opposite. He needs a payday, stat.
Kenny heads over to see Jennifer. He wants to address all things Malaysia (again). Jennifer finally asks Kenny why he cares about this. Kenny answers, asking his boss to keep her eyes open when working with Malaysia.
This mansplaining is giving a you should smile more, ladies, vibe.
Growing as bothered as I was while watching this scene, Jennifer reminds Kenny of his place. She (AND EVERY OTHER WOMAN ON THE PLANET) hates it when a man explains how she needs to run her business. Shamed in his confessional, Kenny admits he did not think this one through enough.
Malaysia and Jennifer host a lighthearted yet heated open house
Jennifer and Malaysia prepare their shared listing for their open house. Paige will be in attendance, but first, the other agents at Presidio arrive. Jennifer and Malaysia have set up a scavenger hunt around this mansion, so each agent gets to work, hoping to win this lighthearted challenge.
In the backyard, Sarah and Matt share a giggle. In Episode 1, Matt was weary of Sarah, so we love this progress.
Sarah approaches Jennifer next to bring up her earlier financing question on her current listing. Jennifer is thrilled that Sarah came to her first, not her husband, Chris. Sarah is relieved. She is finally starting to prove herself to Jennifer.
As the music darkens, Paige arrives. Paige hugs Jennifer, who asks to speak with her outside. Forever my eating and sassing queen, Tyna remarks that this party is about to get lit.
Outside, Paige and Jennifer discuss Malaysia. Jennifer notes that Paige failed to train Malaysia on listings. Paige calls out her dig, but Jennifer refuses to let up, reminding Paige that she needs to stop using her agent.
Keeping it professional, Paige sighs and states that she wishes to keep things professional with Jennifer. Paige wants them both to win in this industry. Jennifer states that she will always win, so zero wishes need to happen.
Paige heads inside to find Malaysia. Malaysia finally realizes that she was never the problem. The problem, instead, lies between Paige and Jennifer.
Jennifer encourages Sarah but Malaysia throws a party that ends Sold on SLC Episode 3 with a bang
Later, Jennifer meets with Sarah to discuss seller financing options. These are tricky. As Jennifer breaks the process down, Sarah realizes she might be in over her head.
Jennifer reassures Sarah that she is perfectly nailing all professional and parenting requirements involving her three children. Sarah laughs in her confessional. She only has two children, but she will forgive Jennifer for this slight.
Sarah struggles with her English-speaking clients. Her native language is Portuguese, so she feels like she is failing. Jennifer once again reminds her agent that she is enough. We love it when women support other women.
Matt is happy. Nicole is back in town. But when pressed, Nicole starts to cry, stressing that she is thankful to be working alongside supportive women. Matt notes that the women at his office are the opposite.
While they all support Nicole, they remain divided on how they feel about him. After kissing his wife, Matt remarks that he hates her sticky lipgloss. It makes him not want to kiss her as much, he explains. Cool all around, Matt.
Malaysia hosts a Cinco De Mayo party. Kiley, her friend, arrives with a secret. Her sisters are strippers. One of these men regularly visits their club, paying close attention to one of her sisters.
This man is Matt. Matt allegedly told her sister that once this series airs, he must stop his visits, as he might get recognized. Malaysia cries, knowing that this tea might destroy his life.
