Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has sent fans into stitches after posting a hilarious response to comments from flag football quarterback Darrell Doucette.

Speaking to TMZ Sports, Doucette claims that he’s a “better” quarterback than Patrick Mahomes, citing his “IQ of the game.” Though he praised Mahomes’ skill set, Doucette also claimed he “knows more” about flag football than the three-time Super Bowl champion.

Mahomes usually avoids public trash talk, so he kept his response to Doucette short and simple by posting a popular GIF of 50 Cent:

And social media absolutely loved Mahomes’ response to Doucette:

Flag football will debut at the Olympics in 2028 when the summer games come to Los Angeles, California. There is no confirmation yet if NFL players will play in the tournament, though the NFLPA has expressed that desire.

If NFL players get the nod, one can only assume that Patrick Mahomes would be among the coaches’ top choices at quarterback. He may not run as much as Jalen Hurts, Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson, but Mahomes has set himself apart from every other QB as a passer and improviser.

Mahomes is coming off a second straight Super Bowl championship-winning season with the Chiefs. Last year, he completed 67.2 percent of pass attempts for 4,183 yards and 27 touchdowns against 14 interceptions.

Patrick Mahomes & Chiefs Open 2024 Season vs. Ravens

For the second straight year, and for the third time in four years, the Kansas City Chiefs will host the annual NFL Kickoff Game at Arrowhead Stadium. On Sept. 5, they’ll welcome Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens in the season opener.

Only three teams have played in three consecutive Super Bowls, but none of them claimed three titles in a row. We’ll see if Kansas City can become the first team in history to do so in the coming months.
