Slow Burn Sunday: Bill’s Knowledge of Liam’s Health Crisis on Bold and the Beautiful

This week’s Slow Burn Sunday involves Bill’s knowledge of Liam’s health crisis on The Bold and the Beautiful. Almost everyone knows what’s going on with him. But there’s another important person (or three) in his life who should be aware of his situation.

Reconciliation

Bill (Don Diamont) and Liam (Scott Clifton) had a disturbing fight about Luna (Lisa Yamada). Liam wanted to know why Bill pardoned her. He threatened to end his career at Spencer Publications. That’s when Bill slapped him with some hard, cold truths about his personal life. Liam was so frazzled by their argument that he fell and smacked his head, which led to his grim prognosis.

Liam is dying, but now he has a new lease on life. He wanted to reconnect with his father, especially after their gruesome fight. The two hashed things out at Il Giardino. Liam wanted his father to know that he was proud to be his son. Bill was touched by Liam’s words. It was a bittersweet moment.

Where’s Bill?

Now what? It’s been a few weeks since we’ve seen Bill on our screens. Obviously, the billionaire is busy making money. But he should get a heads-up about what’s going on. Liam had to take a step back from his position and not because of a family rift. Bill should know the truth. Yet, Liam’s trying to live as normal a life as possible. He doesn’t want to think about his impending death. He would rather focus on what’s important: family.

But Liam has been doing everything wrong. He should get his priorities in order and tell his father that he’s dying. In fact, the entire Spencer family should come back. (Will Liam’s impending death bring back Wyatt on B&B?) Liam should reunite with his father and his other brother, Will (Crew Morrow), too. They deserve to share their final moments with him as well.

Instead, Liam is mostly focused on his baby mamas. Not that that’s a bad thing. He was able to get Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope (Annika Noelle) to get along, which is a miracle in itself. However, he should include his father and brothers during this difficult time. It’s only right.
